Monki x Plan International

At Monki our mission was to empower young women, strengthen our community and by doing so, also improve the world we live in. As Global Marketing & Communications Manager, I was responsible for managing the business partnership with Plan International.

Through a long-term partnership with Plan International we’ve addressed several topics. Together with Plan International we’ve worked with different youth activists to raise awareness on really important social issues. Because we can’t create positive social change without raising the voices of those who need to be heard most: the younger generation of today. As Monki has a high online reach and strong social community, we lended our online platforms to lift the voices of change makers to help lead the way and empower others to speak up and take space.

  • Editorial planning. Developing a strategic content plan for engaging the brand's audience on various social media platforms. This includes understanding Monki's brand identity, defining objectives and goals, and creating a content calendar aligned with marketing initiatives.

  • Project management. Collaborate internally and with Plan International’s teams to optimize the campaign, ensure the content resonated with the platform's user base and facilitating cross-functional alignment.
